I'm Still Here!

I haven't been posting much because I finally started working on my novel, which leaves me with very little free time by the time I eat dinner, spend time with the family, and play WoW. It's going well - I've got a daily wordgoal of 1k and it's still going well. I will be keeping a wordcount at the bottom of my posts to keep you informed of my progress.

Back to the drawing board

Anthology finally got back to me - rejected, although I did make the final round. No comments, unfortunately. It's back to the rewrite board with the story and then I'll send it out again.

Got a rejection first time out for another piece of mine, so that's two rejections this week.

I also didn't get the new open position at my job that supports my writing.

Damn.

I thought Fountain of Age was the better of the two. I was kind of
surprised "Always" counted as a sci-fi/fantasy story.

The flash fiction turned out to be very easy to edit, and I sent it off.

And now we play the 3 month waiting game. If only the more popular mags didn't have such a slow return rate. Alas.
